Why this show exists

Belonging is a birthright. I do this work because it is personal.

There is a difference between knowing you belong and feeling you belong. A feeling can be handed to you and taken back. Knowing rests on something steadier, which is the value you add.

I understood how far past the workplace that reaches when someone I love told me, inside our own home, that they did not know if they belonged.

Every episode, interpreted

Every episode is captioned. Captions clear the compliance bar. They do not clear the belonging bar.

For many Deaf people, American Sign Language is a first language and written English is a second one. We are building toward ASL interpretation on every episode. We are not there yet. Partners are how we get there.

Ways to partner

  • Supporting Organization

    $1,500 per year

    Your name on the work. Partner page, newsletter, and social. No audio placement.

  • Episode Partner

    from $3,000

    Named at the top and close of your episode, on the video edit, and permanently on that episode’s page.

  • Access Partner

    $20,200 per season

    Underwrites ASL interpretation for a full season. Named beneath the interpreter frame, every episode, under the interpreter’s own name.

  • Presenting Partner

    $52,000 per year · 1 slot

    Named in the intro clip, which is also the show trailer on every platform. Plus the outro, the end card, and the four season openers.

Episode blocks. Each episode is one week on the show. Share the weeks you would prefer and we will accommodate them when we can. We schedule partners so every week of the show is covered, which means a block may not run back to back and can cross seasons.

What a partnership does not include

A seat on the show. A partner can be a guest, though never because they are a partner, and no partnership carries editorial input of any kind. That is the reason the show is worth partnering with.
